It was a pleasure to again direct the FAW/UEFA Goalkeeper ‘A’ Licence this week…
The 14 candidates from International, Premier League, the English Football League (EFL), academies and Womens Premier League (WPL) clubs experienced further learning around physical development, mental preparation and the media. 
There was also opportunities for candidates to observe, review and discuss the relationships of the coaching staff with our attendance at the Wales C’ squad practical coaching session held at the new indoor sports facility at the University of South Wales Sports Park in Treforest.
Interaction & intervention styles presented through practical delivery of the Welsh staff on the day are a main criteria focus from the UEFA Goalkeeping department at this advanced level.
A further course is proposed to commence in the autumn with prerequisites to include the UEFA ‘B’ Licence and Goalkeeper ‘B’ Licence (Level 3) Please visit www.fawtrust.cymru for a future information.
