Since 2021, Adrian has been working with England National Teams at The Football Association having previously held first team goalkeeper coach positions at Swansea City AFC, Sunderland AFC, and Bristol Rovers. Goalkeepers including Dorus D’Vries, Michel Vorm, Gerhard Tremmel, Jordan Pickford, Vito Mannone & Costel Pantilimon are a few of the elite goalkeepers who spent time in positive environments created by their working relationships required to support performance at an elite level.
During his initial 5 years at Swansea City, Adrian helped the club gain promotion to the English Premier League under Brendan Rodgers and then achieved the clubs first major silverware a few years later, with League Cup success at Wembley under Head Coach Michael Laudrup.
Practical experience in the coaching environment is an essential requirement to any elite coach. Fortunately for Adrian he has been able to spend many hours on the training pitch in his 25 years developing the coaching skills needed to become an elite coach.
Coaching at National level with the Wales, Morocco & England has also giving Adrian the opportunity to support the development of many young goalkeepers and players. There are also examples of talented female players that have progressed through specific elite coaching programmes in Wales initially developed with Adrian while he was at the Welsh Football Trust. A number of players including Helen Ward, Wales Women’s former record goalscorer, was identified and then debuted for the Women’s National team during Adrian’s 3 year spell as Head Coach (2006-2009).

National Team Manager/Head Coach
Providing the direction and support to the assistant coaches and additional backroom team to prepare international squads for the competition environment they are involved.
National Team Goalkeeper Coach
Maintaining the performance levels of the goalkeeper through challenging coaching sessions in the International environment, while providing assistance to the Head Coach and supporting staff with the planning, monitoring and delivery of the coaching programme of the assigned team.
